Urban Peak works with homeless and runaway youth between the ages of 14 and 24 years of age in Denver and between the ages of 15 to 21 in Colorado Springs. We provide a safe and caring place so that you can begin to work on getting off the streets. We offer assistance in Denver and in Colorado Springs. If you are older or younger than the ages we serve, we can still help find a shelter or similar organization that help people in any age group.

SHELTER - DENVER
You can also come directly to the shelter if you are able to. We are located at 1630 South Acoma Street MAP. For directions on how to reach our shelter, you can call 303.974.2908.

STREET OUTREACH AND DROP-IN CENTER - DENVER

Specially trained counselors are on the streets interacting with youth living on the streets. Their goals are to develop a sense of trust and build relationships with youth, provide them with intensive case management, encourage them to come to Urban Peak, and connect them with resources in the community.

COLORADO SPRINGS
You can also come directly to THE Place, a licensed 20-bed transitional housing facility. We are located at 423 E. Cucharras St. For directions on how to reach The Place, you can call 719.630.3223 or click here for a MAP. If you call after normal business hours, listen to the outgoing message to find out how to contact us. We can be reached 24 hours a day.

In Colorado Springs, staff can be seen frequently around the Citadel Mall, Chapel Hills Mall, bus station, Manitou Arcade, and downtown parks. They are also available to talk, help you get food and reach family members. Services at The Place include shelter, free food, showers, clothing, job counseling, doctor appointments, education programs and help finding housing. If you are older than 21 or younger than 15, we can still help you find a shelter or similar organization that helps people in your age group.
